Attendance - it is not ok to be away! |
Education is a sequential process. Absences often mean students miss important stages in the development of topics, causing them to find "catching up" difficult. Parents have a responsibility to ensure that their children attend school regularly, and are only absent if ill or if absolutely necessary.
Parents have a further responsibility to provide a written note to the school explaining why an absence has occurred. This is true even if the parent has notified the school of the absence via the absence line. Absence notes need to be provided to the form teachers on the day of return to school. Proforma absence notes are available in the College diaries.

Bus Passes 2010 |
Please note that bus passes will not be issued in 2010. Students wishing to travel to friends, sport or work commitments will need to be driven by parents. Bus access will only be to and from home. However, students having dual family arrangements will be catered for.
Also students may access another bus stop on their designated bus, but MUST get a bus pass from the Admin Office (with a note provided by a parent). Parents must not approach bus drivers, text or phone students to get off at any stop other than the designated stop. This practice ensures the safety of your child.
