Make a range of beautiful homewares including table setting elements, cutlery, table mats, drink coasters and serving implements, using a range of materials; wood, metal, perspex, rubber and paper in fun, simple and exciting new ways using the latest in stamping and paper embellishment.

Food for all Occasions:Do you want to know how to survive in the kitchen and entertain your friends?Well food for all occasions is for you. This course will involve designing producing and evaluating meals for special occasions such as breakfasts, lunches and even formal dinners. Students will be progressing towards independently producing a two course meal of their own design in a time fraction of 70 minutes. A little bit like the television show “Ready Steady Cook”.

You'll find inspirational design ideas, project tutorials, and the latest colours and styles from all over the world. Lots of quick and easy projects to do!
Make, Bake and Decorate Do you want to impress your friends with your creativity and individuality? Well MBD is for you?This course will involve designing, producing and evaluating different methods of cake production and decorating. The students will be progressing towards designing and producing a gingerbread house for special occasions such as Easter or Christmas. This course is a sweet tooths fantasy.
Make your own Tool Box
For generations, tradesmen of all persuasions have been banging together simple wooden boxes for their gear. Long and narrow for easy carrying, these toolboxes were little more than five boards and a heavy dowel handle. They were the ultimate in utility--and they're just as handy now. Your tools will have a new home, and you'll know where to find them when the next job comes along.
Pyjama Party
Students design their own pyjamas and top. Samplers are shown along with lots of research pictures and ideas very quick and easy sewing.
Systems
Ever wondered how electricity works and why lights can flash on and off? Well here’s your chance to build your own bicycle flashing tail light. After building this you’ll have the knowledge to be able to buy an electronic kit for Dick Smiths or Jaycar and build whatever you want to at home.
Wider World of Food
Do you enjoy trying different taste sensations and experiences?
Well WWF is for you? This course will involve exploring, evaluating and producing various cooking techniques and ingredients from around the globe. The students will be progressing towards independently developing and producing a dish of their choice from a culture different to their own. This course is a bit like a “Food Safari”. |
